Rebecca Mantey

Rebecca Mantey was a Senior Development Officer at the EastWest Institute.

Mantey led programmatic fundraising and strategic partnerships on initiatives ranging from Cybersecurity to U.S.-China relations. She previously served as the Acting Director of Development for the Points of Light Institute’s youth arm, focused on growing private sector partnerships and corporate philanthropy. In addition, she led major gifts and corporate engagement for Children for Children, a New York-based NGO focused on youth development

Mantey holds a bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in Political Science and Religion and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Arcadia University. She has worked on various development projects throughout South America and was a Research Fellow for the East African Community (EAC) in Arusha, Tanzania, specializing in conflict prevention and gender policy in the Great Lakes Region. In Arusha, she helped establish and develop a funding model for The Nyerere Centre for Peace Research, to promote international field research and connect African civil society organizations to regional policymakers.
