Ettore Marchesoni is a former program coordinator for the Regional Security Initiative.
Ettore joined EWI's Regional Security Initiative in January 2015 to assist in the implementation of the institute's activities focusing on Afghanistan, Central and South Asia.
Prior to joining the EWI team, Ettore collaborated with NGOs and research institutions active in the field of conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance in Brussels, The Hague and Uppsala, Sweden. He also worked in Sarajevo with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, supporting the coordination of the organization’s projects and programs in the country.
Ettore holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University (Sweden) and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Politics from the University of Padua (Italy). He speaks Italian and English, and has good knowledge of French and German.
