Dulyapak Preecharush is currently an assistant professor of Southeast Asian Studies at Thammasat University, Thailand.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with first class honors from Kasetsart University and a master’s degree in Southeast Asian studies from Chulalongkorn University, for which he received financial support from the Rockefeller Foundation. He completed a doctorate in comparative politics at the University of Hong Kong, with visiting research fellowship at Cornell University's Southeast Asia Program. 

His research and teaching interests include comparative politics in Southeast Asia with a focus on Thailand and Myanmar, history and multiculturalism in Southeast Asia, international politics in Southeast Asia, foreign policy, defense policy, geopolitics and geostrategy. Dr. Preecharush has delivered presentations at various institutions including the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, National Defense College, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy and other leading universities in the Southeast Asian region. He regularly writes critical comments and articles on national/international journals, daily newspapers, and academic blogs.
