Afghanistan Reconnected

Since 2012, the EastWest Institute has focused on facilitating Afghanistan’s transition towards political and economic stability by forging regional economic and political cooperation. Through the Afghanistan Reconnected Process, representatives from governments, parliaments, and the private sector from Afghanistan, its immediate neighbors and interested regional and international actors, formulate actionable recommendations for policy reforms for the stability and prosperity of the region.
