Hilton Smith is the President and CEO of East Bay Co., LTD, a commercial real estate holding company in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also President and CEO of various real estate developments and home building companies in Maryland, West Virginia and South Carolina.
Hilton is the Chairman of the Board of the College of Charleston Foundation and serves on the Boards of the Hollings Cancer Center of the Medical University of South Carolina and the Palmetto Project. He is also the Chairman of The Oliver S. and Jennie R. Donaldson Charitable Trust.
Hilton graduated from Georgetown University, School of Business Administration, with a degree in International Finance. He has been married for thirty-nine years to his wife, Catherine, and has two sons and two granddaughters. He resides in Charleston, South Carolina.
