Xu Manshu was a Fellow in EWI’s Conflict Prevention Program and is based at EWI's Brussels Center from September to December 2008 as part of EWI's cooperation with China's National Defense University (NDU), PLA. Currently an associate professor at the Research Center for Crisis Management at the NDU, PLA, Commander Xu's research focuses on the early warning of crises, conflict control and non-traditional security.  While at EWI, she conducted policy research on military cooperation with China on conflict prevention.  Commander Xu holds a Master's degree in Operations and Doctor’s degree in Military Strategy from the graduate school of NDU, PLA.
