Exceptionalism and Major International Conflict in the 21st Century

On September 13, Perot Fellow and Senior Vice President of Strategic Trust-Building David Firestein addressed faculty and students at the Clement Center for National Security of the University of Texas at Austin. In his talk, Firestein enumerated what he sees as the five common denominators of major conflict in the 21st century, placing special emphasis on the role of exceptionalism.
