Harvard's Belfer Center Interviews Dr. Saalman on Cyberspace Security in Sweden

News | September 10, 2018

Dr. Lora Saalman was recently interviewed for a report entitled Catching Swedish Phish: How Sweden is Protecting its 2018 Elections by Gabriel Cederberg of the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs on Sweden’s role in international diplomacy and the impact on its security in cyberspace. In the report, she observed that Sweden has frequently been involved in high-stakes diplomatic discussions, playing a “liminal role in international diplomacy,” which has enabled it to facilitate crucial talks along the edges of intractable issues. As a result, she argued that Sweden may be a prime target for cyber and information operations.
