Michael B. Ajouz is a Managing Director at New Mountain Capital.
Mr. Ajouz joined the Firm in its early formation in 2000 and today the Firm manages over $8.0 billion in capital. He was previously associated with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) where he conducted extensive analytical evaluations and transactions in many industries. Prior to KKR, Mr. Ajouz was previously in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he advised clients and evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. He started his career as an executive at the economic consulting firm, Cornerstone Research.
Mr. Ajouz received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Economics with a concentration in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Ajouz serves or has served in the past as a Board Director of Apptis, Inc., Camber Corporation, Deltek, Inc., Connextions, Inc., Inmar, Inc., Intermarine, Inc., Oakleaf Global Holdings, Inc., National Medical Health Card Systems, Inc., and Surgis Surgical Services, Inc.
