Working out of the New York Center, Francisco Cadavid was the Program Assistant for the EastWest Institute’s China Program.
Prior to joining EWI, Francisco interned at The Korea Society, a New York-based organization dedicated to the promotion of greater awareness, understanding and cooperation between the United States and Korea. From 2010-2011, he taught English at an elementary school in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to that, he worked for a Miami-based floral distributor as a Marketing Coordinator.
In addition to South Korea, Francisco has extensive experience living in China, having taken part in two separate study abroad programs in Shanghai and Beijing.
He holds a master’s degree in East Asian Regional Studies from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He speaks Spanish, Chinese and Korean.
