Vanessa Hradsky was EWI’s Major Gifts Development Officer until 2009. Vanessa has worked in development for several nonprofit organizations in international development and health, raising funds from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individual donors.

Before moving to the nonprofit world, she held sales and management positions in New York's financial sector. She is also a published freelance writer and photographer.

Vanessa has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, and certificates in proposal writing and fundraising from The Grantsmanship Center and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In addition to her native French, she is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. She has an extensive international background and has lived in Cote d’Ivoire, Thailand and France.
