Alexander Voloshin is Chairman of the Board of JSC Freight One (PGK) and Non-executive Director of Yandex Company.
Mr. Alexander Staliyevich Voloshin was born in 1956, in Moscow. In 1978, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Transportation Engineers and in 1986 from the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade. From 1999 to 2003, Alexander Voloshin was Chief of the Russian Presidential Administration. From 1999 to 2008, he served as elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of RAO UES (Unified Energy Systems) of Russia. From December 2008 to June 2010, Alexander Voloshin was Chairman of the Board of JSC Mining and Metallurgical Company Norilsk Nickel.
In October 2008 he became member of the Presidential Council for Financial Market Development of the Russian Federation.
In July 2010, by Order of the RF President Alexander Voloshin was appointed Head of the Working Group for establishing of the International Financial Centre in the Russian Federation. In December 2010, Mr. Voloshin became a member of the International Advisory Council for the creation and development of the International Financial Centre in Russia.
