Debalina Ghoshal is a non-resident fellow with the Council on International Policy. Prior to this, she has worked with the Centre for Air Power Studies and the Delhi Policy Group. Her areas of specialization include nuclear issues, missile defense and strategic issues. She has completed her master's degree in International Studies from Stella Maris College, Chennai and also holds a post-graduate diploma in international humanitarian law from the National Academy of Legal Sciences and Research in Hyderabad. During her tenure in Centre for Air Power Studies, she has delivered lectures at various seminars organised for the Armed Forces.

She has written more than 150 articles on issues pertaining on nuclear missiles missile defense space artillery and strategic issues for both national and international magazines, journals and newspapers namely the Washington Quarterly, Comparative Strategy, Non Proliferation Review, Force, Asian Military Review, Military Technology, Mittler Report, Defence Procurement International, Air Power Journal, CLAWS Journal, RUSI Newbrief, RUSI Defence Systems, Defence Review Asia, The Diplomat, Daily Sabah, The Times of Israel, The Jerusalem Post and the Deccan Herald to name a few. She has also authored a monograph Missile Development in the Middle East with the Middle East Institute.
