Jean Dumont was Manager, Administration and Public Affairs for the EastWest Institute. Prior to joining EWI, Jean served as Project Manager at Hewlett-Packard, where he was responsible for communications for the Travel and Indirect Procurement departments for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He also led electronic procurement projects in several Eastern European countries. He also recently served as coordinator of the Avignon Festival, leading a team of 30. His earlier assignments have included Public Relations Consultant at Communication Partners in Brussels and Communication Specialist at Sabam (a Belgian authors' rights company).
