Jesal Miller was the Director of Events at the EastWest Institute.
Jesal was responsible for leading, planning and executing EWI events including Board of Directors meetings, an annual Cybersecurity Summit, the U.S.-China High-Level Political Party Leaders Dialogues, programmatic symposiums and various fundraising dinners and receptions. Jesal has many years of experience in event management, marketing and public relations. Prior to EWI she was the Specialty Conferences Division Manager at the International Council of Shopping Centers where she was responsible for overseeing large-scale, multi day conferences for professional audiences ranging from 500 – 1000 people.
Previous to this position she was a Senior Account Executive at CMI Event Planning and Fundraising where she partnered with clients to market events, maximize event revenues, and execute event logistics, clients included Women’s Entertainment Television and The Nature Conservancy. Prior to this position she was Director of Marketing and Events at Catalyst Inc, where she was responsible for an annual $3 million fundraising dinner honoring CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and annual awards conference for 600 senior-level HR and diversity professionals, and an annual CEO Summit gathering 30 Fortune 500 CEOs. Jesal graduated from American University and studied abroad in Rome, Italy. She is a member of the Asia Society and speaks Gujarati and a bit of Hindi.
