Dr. Jiang Tianjiao is an assistant professor in the Department of International Relations at the Shanghai International Studies University in China. His research focuses on cybersecurity, non-proliferation and strategic stability between China and the United States.

He has worked as assistant researcher at Center for Global Cyberspace Governance Studies, Fudan University, co-founded by the Tencent Holdings Ltd. Dr. Jiang was also a visiting scholar at Sigur Center for Asian Studies, George Washington University in 2017.

Dr. Jiang has delivered presentations at various institutions including the International Student/Young Pugwash (ISYP), Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, the Wilson Center’s Asia-Pacific Nuclear History Institute, Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University, and Cyberspace Administration of China. He has also published several papers in the journal World Economy and Politics, Journal of Contemporary Asia-Pacific Studies and Copenhagen Journal of Asian Studies.

Dr. Jiang earned his doctorate from Fudan University, where he specialized in arms control and regional security.
