Terry Morgan

Mr. Terry Morgan was Vice President for the Worldwide Cybersecurity Initiative. Terry has 25 years executive-level, internationally-focused experience in policy, business and operations; most recently focused on technology’s impact on a nation’s security. From 1998 to September 2010, Terry played a leadership role in Cisco, most recently as the Director, Net-Centric Initiatives, Global Government Solutions Group (GGSG). From 1995 to 1998, he was the Business Development and Account Manager, US Navy, NATO and US Forces Europe for 3-Com and US Robotics. From 1970 to 1994, Terry served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps. Key assignments included: Asst. Chief of Staff, Operations, Fleet Marine Forces Europe, London, U.K; Asst. Division Fire Support Coordinator, 1st and 2D Marine Divisions, Commander and Executive Officer, Artillery Battalion, 2D Marine Division; Unarmed, United Nations Military Observer, Lebanon, 1984-85; Instructor, US Army Field Artillery School, Ft Sill Oklahoma.

Terry’s Not-for Profit service included the Executive Chairmanship of the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC) , an international industry consortium promoting network centric operations (NCO) and interoperability. He was a founding member of NCOIC. He has served as a founding member of the Board of Directors of Diplomacy Matters Institute, established to promote international understanding among nations and accelerate connections between Washington’s foreign embassy community and U.S. stakeholders.

Terry is a graduate of the  U.S. Army War College (1990), the Marine Corps Command and Staff College (1984); the Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School (1997); and  U.S. Naval Academy (1970).
