EWI's McConnell Says U.S.-China Cyber Pact is “a Necessity”

EastWest Institute Senior Vice President Bruce McConnell delievered an important message to the U.S. and China two days before the second "World Internet Conference" (Wuzhen Summit) on December 16-18.   

"The cyberspace should be the seen as a new field where China and U.S. could tap on, rather than a place to start conflicts," said McConnell.

"China and the U.S. should be committed to promoting international cooperation by setting up an international dialogue and cooperation mechanism to combat cyber terrorism."
