Nvard Chalikyan is a consultant for the Russia program at the EastWest Institute. She conducts research, writes articles and organizes events on various aspects of the U.S.-Russia relations.
Prior to joining EWI, Nvard worked at a leading think tank in Armenia, where she conducted research and managed international projects. She has also worked with international organizations and online newspapers, contributing articles as well as interviews with experts from Russia, the U.S., Europe and Armenia on international security issues, U.S.-Russia relations and post-Soviet space.
Nvard has a Master of Philosophy degree in politics and international studies from the University of Cambridge; she also has a master’s degree in political science and international affairs from the American University of Armenia. She is fluent in Armenian, English and Russian.
