Thomas Lynch

Thomas Lynch was a communciations coordinator at the New York Center of the EastWest Institute.

Thomas maintained the EastWest Institute's website and new media applications, developed content and design for publications and the web, provided event support, and assisted the communications team on administrative and logistical issues. He headed the institute's next generation ("nextgen") outreach program.

Thomas previously served as a research assistant in the institute's Executive Office, where he was responsible for researching issues, people and ideas, including new media methodologies and technological innovation as means of increasing EWI’s exposure. 

He has worked at the U.S. House of Representatives and with Fianna Fáil party headquarters in Dublin. He has also worked both as graphics editor and as a cartoonist for The Cavalier Daily, UVA's prestigious student-owned and -operated daily paper. In addition to his native English, Thomas is proficient in German.

Thomas grew up in Charlottesville, Va., and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of Virginia in 2010.
