Dragan Stojanovski is an associate at EWI, working on institute’s communication design, brand identity and digital communications.
He started his E.U.-level public affairs work in 2007 as a projects director and then president of the European Students’ Forum, Europe’s largest student network, where he managed big international projects together with an extensive portfolio of institutional ties towards the European Union, Council of Europe, United Nations, UNESCO, OSCE, OECD and the World Bank. He took representative roles in major EU policy developments in the domains of youth, education, employment and sustainability policies, and continues to sit on a number of expert groups for the European Youth Forum, European Civic Forum and the European Commission.
In 2008 Dragan founded Y Vote Campaign, the biggest youth effort for voters mobilization for the European Parliament elections. Supported by the main E.U. personalities, political parties and NGOs, campaign has directly reached over half a million young people across the European Union and championed the use of viral and social marketing in new media political campaigning.
He joined EWI in 2010 and received the first President's Award for Excellence in 2011.
Dragan studied software engineering and worked in ICT in his native Serbia. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing.
